Stichting Special Media Web Designer & Developer
Since July 7th, 2026, I have volunteered at Stichting Special Media. I believe that the One who created the entire universe, Jesus, has made every person unique and valuable. Therefore, I want to give people with mental disabilities the opportunity to be part of society, making them feel useful and seen too. The Special Media Awards offer a great opportunity for this, which is why I decided to get involved! As Web Designer & Developer, I am helping to build the website for the Special Media Awards and am part of the communications team.
StudentAlpha Conversation Leader
Since March 18th, 2026, I have been volunteering at StudentAlpha in Enschede. The free weekly StudentAlpha course starts with a shared meal, meant for connection and getting to know each other. Afterwards, a topic is covered, and we move on to the most important part: discussing the topic together. This also ensures that every opinion can be expressed. I serve here by guiding the conversation and telling the participants more about God.
ASVZ Event Crew
Since May 27, 2025, I have volunteered at ASVZ. As a member of the ASVZ Event Crew, I help organize and set up events together with people with mental disabilities. Leading these people gives them the opportunity to be part of society, making them feel useful and seen, which benefits both them and the event requester. I have also designed the logo of the ASVZ Event Crew.
Opwekking Teenzone Employee Talkzone
Since March 8th, 2025, I have volunteered at Opwekking Teenzone. The Talkzone is the place in the Opwekking Teenzone where teenagers can come to pray or tell their story. As a staff member, I offer these teenagers a listening ear, and I can pray with them.
Disciple with the Navigators
Since March 26th, 2024, I have served as a volunteer with the Navigators. Here, I get to help build God's Kingdom by spending intentional time with people to discover who God is and what He does, and help them engage in a deeper way in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through discipleship, I connect with people from all walks of life, and together we discover in the Bible how God wants us to live and how we can pass that on to our neighbors, “to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same”.
Society of Siblings Buddy Volunteer
Since January 24th, 2023, I have volunteered at Society of Siblings. With their buddy project, they want to connect people, such as teenagers and young adults, to combat loneliness and become buddies.
Brothers in Christ Assistant Manager
Since May 11th, 2022, I have been an Assistant Manager at Brothers in Christ. Brothers in Christ wants to serve teenagers with what Jesus has placed on their hearts. They do this in various ways, including organizing youth services and other activities.
Worship Leader & Singer in the NSE Music Committee
From August 8th, 2023, until July 2nd, 2026, I have been a worship leader and singer in the Music Committee of my student association called Navigators Studentenvereniging Enschede. Every other week, we organise a meeting evening comparable to a church service, with drinks afterward.
CrossExamined International
Web Designer & Graphic Designer
From January 15th, 2024, until November 10th, 2024, I have been a part of CrossExamined International. Specifically, the team for CrossExamined Dutch. CrossExamined is an American organization focusing on Christian apologetics. Their vision is to reach people worldwide with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Here, I functioned as an Graphic Designer and Web Designer. As a Web Designer, I have helped bring the websites of CrossExamined Europe and CrossExamined Dutch to life by creating styles and layouts, fixing bugs, checking grammar and spelling, etcetera.
